Glazed Asian Meatballs

These easy to make meatballs can be cooked in large batches as they are cooked in the oven. If you have a steam combi oven use a combination of Hot air and Steam and use the same temperature as in the recipe. Use a medium humidity level.

You can freeze them for later use and then defrost and glaze when you are ready to eat.


  • 500g minced pork
  • 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  • 1 small onion, finely choppe
  • knob of ginger, grated
  • small bunch coriander, chopped finely
  • 1/2 cup panko breadcrumbs (or use fresh)
  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 1 tsp stock powder (any kind)


  • 2 tbsp hoisin sauce
  • 4 tbsp sweet chilli sauce
  • 2 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 tbsp brown sugar
  • 3 tbsp sesame seeds
