Espresso Chocolate Pudding

This is extremely decadent . You wont need a large serving but the addition of the espresso syrup takes it to another level 

1 loaf thick-cut sliced bread (white or wholemeal)

softened butter

120g dark chocolate, chopped

1/2C strong espresso coffee, cooled

4 eggs, lightly beaten

1C milk

3/4C brown sugar

vanilla essence

raw sugar for sprinkling

3/4C espresso coffee

3/4C sugar
