cup fresh cherries, pitted
1 T raw sugar
¼ t corn flour
2 large eggs separated
1 ½ T caster sugar
50gms dark chocolate, melted
1 t plain flour
This recipe is a cross between a chocolate omlette, and a filled chocolate sponge- hence the name Chocol-lette.
It is extremely quick to make. You could vary the fruit filling with whatever is in season, strawberries or raspberries would work equally well. You could even use frozen berries if fresh arent available.
I used a metal pie dish to cook this dessert in and lined it with baking paper to make folding and serving easy.
This serves 2. You could easily make or 3 at once.
